Software Architecture: Horizontal

People are using this type of architecture is because of performance issue. The programming language of this type of architecture is Assembly Language.

Advantage:

- Very fast in overall performance because each instruction is directly use by the CPU.

- Very small application size.

Disadvantage:

- Developers required writing huge amount of codes.

- Very hard to maintain/debug. Usually wrong instructions used will require system to reset.

- Hardware dependence. Application write for Intel system probably will not work in AMD system.

Arts or Creativity or Just a mind expression?

Many people told me that he has an art soul inside them. I have think quite sometime already, is it really art? I can’t say it is not true. But I just think it is more mind expression to the original attention of work.

But why most people have chosen to use paper or tin or more simple way to produce it works? This is because of the human behavior to simple approach.

To me, Art is define as the mind expression of creativity in any forms. No matter it is craft, electronic board, news writer or even news reader. It is all same…. : D

Oil…

I think now is the time that human kind ready to use the next generation of vehicles which not powered by the fossil fuel. We seem like tied to the country which has the fossil oil. They seem very happy that the $ keep growing as they are keep earning big $.

It is time for us to think about the hybrid car (gasses saver), electrical car or even the Hydrogen Car. The more high the oil price rise, the more fast people to communalize the new generation vehicles.

Quote 4: People don't buy "Product", People buy "Solution".

Let think about it, why you purchase some thing? Most people spend money is just because want to solve their problem. When you can give them a "Solution", then you are the winner.

Quote 3: You have 5 minutes.

I got this from the famous C# guru, Anders Hejlsberg from Microsoft. He said if someone can explain their ideas in very brief (usually in 5-10 minutes), then they have good ideas. Else you will trouble yourself and the users. I think this is why Microsoft is winner even many people said they have many “bugs”, but what most important is “Comfort”. For ex. Here is 2 TVs; one is one button function to operate + remote control + AI function. Another is TV + several operating manual + configuration manual + advance manual + more interesting is TV won’t work without setup at first. So which one you choose? I am confident that most peoples will buy the “one click” TV (even not 100%).

Quote 2: Simplicity is winner.

Many people think that they have this and they have that. Many of then said this is how powerful it has… blaa… blaa… blaa... But from what I discovered and proved so far, they all fail. They don’t understand customers especially the end users. So next time you want to make any claim from what you have, focus one what is easy people understand.

Quote 1: SUCCESS is for dreaming people. FAILURE is for people without action.

This quote mean. People will achieve their success when they have dream. But people will fail when they has no action to his dreams.

It is big, yet too small.

This happen when recently I found that my storage of nearly 500 G hard disk space is not enough for me anymore. 20 year ago, 20 Meg of hard disk can be considered astronomical figure and human kind will never need that amount of storage. But today, one WAVE song has already tripled the size of that 20 Meg limitation.

Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師), The Anime.

Legend tells of a mystical artifact that when used will increase it's possessor's power a thousand fold. Anyone possessing this artifact could in theory produce an elixir of extraordinary power that would heal all injuries, and give them everlasting life. It is rumored to be red; a brilliant, sparkling crimson rivaling the most precious jewel in any museum. The stone's power is equal to the greatest of Nature’s fury and beauty alike.

Even in the hands of the most ordinary person the stone's potential is amazing. But in the hands of an Alchemist, its power becomes godlike. Only an Alchemist knows the deeper secrets of the stone. By tapping in to the stone’s most elemental levels the Alchemist is able to transmute human life, the most forbidden of all Alchemical practices.

Many have sought out the stone's power; all have failed. But a new adventurer has taken up the quest. A young State Alchemist seeks to right a most horrific wrong. His quest will determine the ultimate fate of an entire nation...and for himself. To seize the stone would allow him to restore life to those he loves, but it will also make it possible for the State Military to obliterate countless more. It is this burden that the young Alchemist bears. The power to create is but a breath away from the power to destroy. His name is Edward Elric. And he seeks the Philosopher's Stone.

Breaking the rules but not breaking the laws.

This is interesting thing. The “Game” can only be interested when we are not following the rule. Think about this….
